"What led you to teach?"
"Growing up, I wanted to be a Veterinarian or a teacher; teacher won. I truly felt that it was my calling to be a teacher, and I wanted to help children find a love of learning."
"What do you value most about teaching?"
"I love teaching Kindergarten. I love to come up with fun and out of the box ways to teach new concepts to my students. My student's enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are what drives me daily. One of my favorite things about teaching is the relationships that I get to build with each of my students. I love each of them for their special qualities. "How do you describe education?"
"Working in education is both a challenge and a privilege. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with my students each day and to grow them as lifelong learners and leaders. It means so much to be able to see the difference you can make in the lives of each child in the classroom. It is so special to be able to form relationships with each of my students, and through these relationships, I can create lessons to meet each of their needs best. While teaching is a privilege, it can also be a challenge. The education field is ever-changing. As an educator, you have to learn to adapt to and to be willing to pursue opportunities to grow yourself. "
