Anderson School District 3 is pleased to announce Brent Powell as the district’s new Director of Maintenance.
Powell has served Anderson 3 as a Maintenance Technician since 2022, where he has played an important role in supporting the daily operation, upkeep, and improvement of district facilities. During his four years with the district, he has earned a reputation for his strong work ethic, technical knowledge, and commitment to serving our schools well.
Prior to joining Anderson 3, Powell worked with mechanical and electrical companies as a project manager, gaining extensive experience in project coordination, electrical systems, and facility operations. His background and hands-on expertise have made him a valuable member of the district’s maintenance team and will serve him well as he steps into this leadership role.
A graduate of Crescent High School, Powell’s promotion is especially meaningful as Anderson 3 welcomes one of its own into a district leadership position.

As Director of Maintenance, Powell will oversee the maintenance and operation of district buildings and facilities, helping ensure our schools remain safe, functional, and well-maintained environments for students and staff.
