Starr-Iva Middle has received a "Good" rating on the 2023 South Carolina Report Card, which compiles 2022-2023 school year data. SIMS scored a 52. School administrators and teachers have worked to recognize areas for improvement and are already working to better those areas for the current school year.
For 2023, Starr-Iva's Academic Achievement category moved from Average to Good. SIMS also received an Excellent School Climate rating, which shows parents, teachers, and students recognize great things are happening in their school.
