At the June 2025 meeting of the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees, the board officially approved the general fund budget for the 2025โ€“2026 school year.

This yearโ€™s approved budget prioritizes employee compensation, instructional support, and student services, while maintaining the districtโ€™s long-standing record of financial responsibility without any millage increase.

๐Ÿ’ผ Budget Highlights:

  • โœ… 4% raise for all teachers and classified staff

  • โœ… 3% raise for administrative staff

  • โœ… Expanded classified staff pay scales to include up to 28 steps, allowing veteran employees to continue earning longevity increases

  • โœ… Starting teacher salary increased to $52,000, reinforcing Anderson 3โ€™s commitment to attracting and retaining high-quality educators

๐Ÿฏ Supporting Enrollment & Student Needs:

  • ๐ŸŽ A new first-grade teaching position has been added at Starr Elementary to meet the needs of rising student enrollment and maintain strong student-to-teacher ratios.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ A new support staff position at Starr-Iva Middle School will allow Anderson 3 to expand its successful ROAR Program, which launched this year at Crescent High School. The ROAR initiative provides a more structured learning environment, targeted interventions, and behavioral support for students in their home school environment.

  • Total 25-26 General Fund Budget: $32,190,650

  • $2,082,900 increase over the prior year (a 6.92% increase)

  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Maintains a 25% fund balance, reflecting Anderson 3โ€™s continued focus on strong financial stewardship
