Anderson School District 3 proudly represented excellence in leadership and innovation at the 2025 SCASA i3 Conference! Several district and school leaders took the stage to share impactful strategies, creative ideas, and inspiring success stories with education leaders from across the state. ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Superintendent Kathy Hipp and Dr. Brenda Kelly, Superintendent of Anderson 5, co-presented โ€œTrailblazing Together: Empowering Women Leaders in Education.โ€ Their dynamic session explored the leadership mindsets and practical habits that help women lead boldly and successfully in today's educational landscape.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Christy Dodd, Principal of Flat Rock Elementary, and Carly Herron, Reading Coach, presented โ€œSHINE: Leading a School Through MTSS to Affect Tier 2 Intervention.โ€ Their session spotlighted how Flat Rock has strategically used SHINE intervention time to precisely identify student needs and accelerate academic growth.

๐Ÿซ Adam Coats, former principal of Starr-Iva Middle School, and Emily Wilson, incoming principal, led a powerful presentation titled โ€œBest is the Standard: Setting the Stage with Honest and Targeted Leadership.โ€ They shared practical takeaways on how intentional cultural and instructional changes can lead to transformational school improvement.

๐Ÿค– Heather Dickerson, Instructional Technology Coach, presented โ€œAI-Ready Classrooms: Preparing for the Future with Generative AI,โ€ a timely session encouraging educators to adapt to emerging technologies and embrace AI as a tool to empower student learning and classroom innovation.

๐Ÿ’ŽSuperintendent Kathy Hipp was officially sworn in as the 2025-2026 President of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA)! Her leadership continues to make an impact not only in Anderson 3 but across the entire state. We are so proud of her!
