Flat Rock Elementary Robotics ๐ค
The Board of Trustees commended Flat Rock Elementary students for exceptional achievement at the state and regional levels in the VEX IQ Robotics competition.

The Flat Rock Tigresses team earned 3rd place at the VEX IQ State Competition, the Innovate Award, and both the Build Award and Sportsmanship Award at the AIT Competition. Students recognized were Emma Silvers, Abigail Elmore, Sky Brookshire, & Adele Savca.
The Flat Rock Tigers Team 2730B earned an impressive 2nd place finish at the VEX IQ State Championship and received the Judges' Award.
Students recognized include: Jace Kyle, Luke Burdette, & Haiden Cullen.
Lisa Bradford was recognized for her leadership as advisor of the state-placing robotics teams.
Iva Elementary Robotics ๐ค
The Anderson 3 Board of Trustees commended Iva Elementary students for their success in the VEX IQ Robotics competition.
The team earned the Sportsmanship Award at the AIT Competition, demonstrating teamwork, collaboration, and strong character throughout the event.
Lily Lily Seawright, Lannie Richey, Jackson Hudson, Blair Strauss, and Jamie Cook were recognized.
Starr Elementary Robotics ๐ค
The Board of Trustees commended Starr Elementary students for outstanding achievement across multiple robotics competitions.

The Tigerbots team earned the Core Values Award at a Qualifier Tournament and the Robot Design Award at a Regional Tournament, highlighting their teamwork and engineering design skills.

The VEX Stars team earned the Judges Award at a Qualifier Tournament and placed 6th overall in the Skills Challenge.
Connor Brown, Kase Huff, Wyatt McAlister, Brynlee Moore, Willow Pendleton, & Dillan Sanchez were recognized.

Tanya Fowler was also recognized as the FIRST LEGO League State Championship Coach/Mentor of the Year.
Starr-Iva Middle Robotics ๐ค
The Board of Trustees commended the students of Starr-Iva Middle School for outstanding achievements in robotics competitions.
The TOTS Team 26263 earned the Create Award in the VEX V5 Competition.

The Team Tigers (Team 29684) placed 4th overall, 2nd in Skills, and earned the Build Award at the AIT Regional Tournament, qualifying for the State Competition.

Students recognized include:
Jack Gray, Griffin Smith, Bentley Smith, Audrey Kate Bolt, Chloe O'Baran, Justin Norris, Savannah Sanders, Sophie Brock, Zaiden Hatton, Brody Baker, Dylan Garrison, James Landon Wages, Sarah Lowe, and Joyce Lynn Hayes.
Archery Recognition ๐ฏ
The Board of Trustees commended students who qualified for the Tigers Archery State Competition.

Madelyn Weaghington, Emmilyn Gurley, Finn Botts, Liam Burdette, Ryder Stone, Rylan Weaghington, William Mulherin, Jackson Fowler, and Ava Ware were recognized. Congratulations, Tigers!
Bus Driver of the Month ๐
Ina Robinson was recognized as the February Bus Driver of the Month for her dedication to student safety and service to the district. Congratulations, Ina!

Board member Tripp Bouknight was recognized for achieving Level 6, the highest distinction, through the South Carolina School Boards Association Boardmanship Institute. Congratulations!
