Ms. Jody Fullbright is our #A3AllStar of the Week!

Meet this week's #A3AllStar, Ms. Jody Fullbright! 🌟

Ms. Fullbright is the School Nurse at Starr Elementary. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 27 years and just entered year 13 at Starr! Before becoming a School Nurse, Jodi was a Nurse Manager at AnMed Health. Her love for Pediatrics led her to work in education.

"What do you value most about being a School Nurse?"

"The students!! The smallest thing can brighten any day. I've always said if you want to feel important or even like a star.....work in a school. The love of my Starr babies is endless!!"

Five Facts about Ms. Fullbright:
1. I have a VERY STRONG country accent. 🀠2. I am a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. 🐝3. I love to laugh and am sometimes loud. 🀣4. I love love love baseball... watching my boys play for years.....I am a proud baseball mama! ⚾5. I also love the Atlanta Braves (Freddie Freeman is my favorite). 🧒"How would you sum up working in education?"

"Being a School Nurse is challenging, especially in today's times. It's not always putting band-aids on cuts and scrapes or applying an ice pack. It is taking care of so much more, but I wouldn't change a thing. I can't imagine not being a school nurse. One of my favorite quotes is, 'People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget the way you made them feel.' I hope I make my students feel special every single day!"

Thank you, Ms. Fullbright, for going above and beyond to ensure your "Starr Babies'" health and safety. You truly make A3 shine!

Congratulations! πŸ’›
