Reading All-Stars

On Sunday, April 24, our elementary schools participated in the Greenville Drive's Reading All-Stars Recognition Baseball Game. Students who participated in the reading challenge were given admission and opened the game with a parade of schools. Students received free books and other goodies along with free admission. To complete the Reading All-Stars challenge, students had to read 5 books. Schools that had a large amount of participation in this year's challenge were honored between the first and third inning of the game as "Top Performing" schools. Schools with over 40% participation in 3 of the last 4 years were honored as "Hall of Fame" schools. Flat Rock and Starr Elementary both received these recognitions. Students and their families had a blast during the challenge game. Thank you, Greenville Drive!
