For the past 8 years, James “Bones” Jarrard has served Anderson 3 as our Director of Maintenance, bringing an incredible level of pride, professionalism, and dedication to our schools every day.
Mr. Jarrard has always held extremely high standards for our facilities and projects because he believes things should be done RIGHT. He is a problem-solver extraordinaire who takes tremendous pride in ensuring our buildings are well-maintained, our projects are completed to a high standard, and our students and staff have the best possible environments to learn and work.
As Bones transitions out of the Director of Maintenance role, we are grateful that his work with Anderson 3 is not yet finished! He will continue to oversee the construction of Crescent Middle School through to completion, serving as the district’s Construction Coordinator. Upon completion, he plans to retire from the district officially. 🏗️👷♂️

Anderson School District 3 is inviting parents, guardians, and community members to Behind the Screens, a free event designed to give families practical information and tools to help keep kids safe and healthy online.

Participants included teachers from Anderson School Districts 1, 2, and 3, as well as the School District of Pickens County. We are proud to invest in educators and strengthen the future of teaching! 🐅
