Mr. Brantley Caldwell - 2023-2024 Crescent High and Anderson District 3 Teacher of the Year!

"Brantley Caldwell didn’t start out wanting to be a teacher. It’s a wonderful thing for his students, though, that he realized teaching was his calling and changed his path. Brantley works tirelessly for his students, his school, and Crescent’s FFA program. You can always find him in the shop, in the arena, in the greenhouse, or on a tractor. However, Brantley’s ultimate purpose isn’t just to teach Agriculture. He focuses on the whole student and makes sure that all of them know he cares and that he wants them to succeed. Brantley takes the same amount of time to help the FFA president as he does the student in Ag for the first time just trying it out. He works to teach life skills that will benefit his students long after they leave Crescent. Mr. Caldwell has been very instrumental in the involvement of our special needs students in our agriculture classes and curriculum.  Brantley is humble and hard-working. His commitment to sharing his love of Agriculture Education resonates throughout the entire culture of Crescent High School. Crescent is honored to have him as this year’s Teacher of the Year."

Congratulations, Mr. Caldwell!
