The Crescent Story: Where Rural Roots Grow Tiger Excellence
Established in 1956 along the crescent-curved highway for which it is named, Crescent High School has always been more than just a building—it is the heart of our tight-knit community and school district. As the only high school in Anderson School District 3, its reach spans the largest geographical area among the five Anderson County districts.
Despite a Pupils in Poverty Index of 69.4%, Crescent refuses to let statistics write its story. At Crescent, realities are not limitations—they are the backdrop to triumphs.
An all-time high enrollment of 826 students has brought with it new challenges. But instead of retreating, Crescent has doubled down on its commitment to “Relentlessly Pursuing Excellence.” Through intentional programming, a passionate faculty, and a student body that rises to meet each challenge, Crescent is breaking barriers daily.
