The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and the SC Education Oversight Committee (EOC) have released the 2025 School Report Cards, and Anderson School District 3 continues to demonstrate excellence across every level.
This year’s ratings once again highlight the district’s ongoing commitment to academic growth, student success, and an uncommon pursuit of excellence that extends well beyond the classroom.
Crescent High School and Starr Elementary both earned an "Excellent" rating, the highest possible designation, meaning their performance substantially exceeds state standards. Flat Rock Elementary and Iva Elementary each received a "Good" rating, exceeding state standards, while Starr-Iva Middle School earned an "Average" rating, meeting all expectations outlined by the SCDE.
“Our report card ratings are a reflection of the hard work, heart, and dedication shown daily by our teachers, administrators, students, and families,” said Superintendent Kathy Hipp. “While we celebrate the schools that achieved Excellent and Good ratings, we’re equally committed to supporting our middle school as it grows stronger in key areas. Every school in Anderson 3 plays an important role in helping our students reach their fullest potential.”
The annual report cards provide a broad overview of school and district performance, measuring key indicators such as academic achievement, student growth, college and career readiness, graduation rates, school climate, and student safety.
Across Anderson 3, the results affirm the district’s deep commitment to ensuring every child, regardless of background, is given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities needed to thrive.
