TEDxYouth@Columbia is hosting a free, virtual College and Scholarship Fair on Saturday, October 24 from 2 to 5 PM. The College Fair will feature 20+ schools such as USC, USC Honors, Clemson, Claflin, Furman, Midlands Tech, Winthrop, and Wofford, as well as national scholarship programs including Coca-Cola Scholars and the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. The fair is free to all high school students and counselors.

Today is the last day to purchase technology insurance for Chromebooks. After today, if damage is reported, the full price of repair will be charged. If you haven't already purchased the $30 technology insurance and wish to do so, you may pay online through eFunds, or contact your student's school.

Census workers will hold a drive-through 2020 Census assistance event on Friday, September 25, from 3-5 PM at the Starr Town Hall. Census participation in the Starr-Iva area continues to be the lowest in the county. Each person counted equals approx. $809 in funding! Crescent High School Class of 2021: Senior conferences will begin on Wed. Sept. 23 and will run through October. If you have not received your appointment date and time in the mail, please contact the Guidance Office. This is a reminder that due to Covid-19 restrictions, parents will participate in the IGP conference via a phone conference or a google meet.
