This year’s class ring ceremony will be held on November 12th at 7:00 pm. Juniors and seniors planning to participate in the ceremony should sign up in the front office before Thursday, November 7th.

During the Fall Academic Ceremony, CHS recognized 26 sophomores,18 juniors, and 25 seniors for earning an Academic Letter for the 2018-19 school year. These students finished the year with a 4.5 or higher GPA. Congratulations to these students and their families!

Super proud of Crescent FFA Vice President, Emily Wilson, as she received the 2019 SC State Fair Jr. Beef Scholarship of $2500! Emily, along with Kelsi Bradshaw and Nick Bowman, competed against other SC Juniors where they evaluated a judging class, participated in showmanship, completed a test, wrote an essay, and concluded with an interview. Congratulations to Emily Wilson for this great accomplishment!
The Crescent Cattle Show Team finished out the show season with a bang in the Junior Show at the SC State Fair!
Kelsi Bradshaw won Reserve Grand Champion in the Junior Charolais Show, and she also won Champion Showman in Senior Charolais Showmanship. Emily Wilson won Reserve Grand Champion in the Junior Angus Show, and she also won Champion Showman in Senior Angus Showmanship. Nick Bowman won Grand Champion in the Junior SimAngus Show. Brent Erwin won Grand Champion in the Junior Division of the Junior Hereford Show, and he also won Champion Showman in Junior Hereford Showmanship. Cheyenne Gilmer won Reserve Grand Champion in the Junior Crossbred Show, and she also won Champion Showman in Junior Crossbred Showmanship.
This was definitely a state fair to remember! Special thanks to everyone who helped make our successes this year possible!
