It has been a day full of wins for the Crescent Cattle Show Team! To start out the day, each student placed in the top of their showmanship classes. Following showmanship, Kelsi Bradshaw won Grand Champion in the Charolais Show, Cheyenne Gilmer won Grand Champion in the Crossbred Show, and Brent Erwin won Grand Champion in the Hereford Show. Emily Wilson also won Grand Champion in the Angus Show, where she then went on to win Supreme Champion Female Overall! It’s always a great day to be a Tiger!

The Greenwood County Livestock Show was a great way to spend the Labor Day holiday! Brent Erwin won Grand Champion in the Hereford Show and Emily Wilson won Grand Champion in the Angus Show. Kelsi Bradshaw won a tough Senior Showmanship class, Grand Champion Charolais and ended the day by winning Supreme Champion Overall Female! Congratulations to this team of dedicated students!

Parents and Students,
It has come to our attention that there are some questions and concerns regarding student dress code for this school year. At this time, everyone should be following the dress code that is currently in place in the student handbook. There have been discussions about some items that are not addressed in the handbook such as yoga pants, leggings, tights, etc... I firmly believe in student ownership and responsibility. We are currently working with a group of student leaders to review our dress code and provide some student ownership in this process. Any changes that come from our meetings with students will be clearly communicated and updated in the handbook.

CONGRATS to Crescent Tiger Football! Tigers win 21-20 over McCormick tonight/this am. In a game that ended 4 hours and 13 minutes after its projected start and started on a Friday and ended on a Saturday for likely the 1st time in CHS history, the Tigers win game one of the 2019 season!😄 Sleep well, Tiger Nation!
