All students are to be on time to school every day. This means they must be in their seat at 7:45 am. Every minute of instructional time is important. Please make sure to get them here on time. Thank you.
Flu shots will be provided free of charge at your child's school. If you would like your child to get a flu shot at school, please visit http://www.scdhec.gov/slvcconsent and enter 10403024 as your validation code. More information will be sent home this week in your child's folder.
Our fifth-graders enjoyed a visit with Kris Abel from DHEC. Ms. Abel spoke with students about ways to keep our community and Earth clean. Students learned about the amount of trash that makes it to the landfill and how to reduce that amount by composting and recycling.
Kindergarten STEM students are reviewing the alphabet by building letters with constructive kits!

It's Tiger Trot time, and we want to keep the Golden Shoe at Iva Elementary! The school with the highest number of participants wins! Send in your registration form for the 1-mile Color Run or the 5K by October 1 and help us keep the Golden Shoe where it belongs!

Hello! This is Iva Elementary calling to let you know tomorrow, August 14th, we will be having a Title 1 meeting at 4:30 prior to our Back to School Night. If you plan to attend the meeting it will be held in the school library. We hope to see you there.
Back to School Night will take place Wednesday, August 14th, from 5-6PM! On this day, you will be able to visit your child's classroom and meet the teacher. Prior to coming we ask that you please complete online registration for your child. If you have not received your Snapcode for this, please give us a call at 864-348-6400. If you did not receive a car or bus tag, stop by the cafeteria to pick these up. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday!
