
Flat Rock Elementary will be closed on Monday, December 10th due to inclement weather.

Flat Rock Elementary School will have a pajama day tomorrow, Friday, December 7th for all students. This is a fundraiser for kindergarten. Any student wishing to wear pajamas to school tomorrow should bring one dollar. Also, we will have our Terrific Kid Celebration tomorrow at 8 A M for those students who received an invitation last week.

Flat Rock was proud to have our CHS wrestlers help greet our students this morning.

Flat Rock students have had a fantastic time during our fall field days! We even had a surprise Michelin visitor!

Flat Rock will have our annual field days this week. Tomorrow, third and fifth grade will have field day in the morning, and fourth grade will have theirs tomorrow afternoon. K4 and K5 will have theirs Tuesday morning with first and second grade on Tuesday afternoon. Concessions will be sold. We look forward to seeing you.

Don't forget field days start in the morning! Snacks (including hot cocoa) will be available for purchase.

Field Days are coming Monday and Tuesday! Here's the schedule:
Monday - 3rd/5th @s 8:30 a.m.; 4th grade @ 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday - K4/K5 @8:30 a.m.; 1st/2nd @ 12:30 p.m.
Any remaining Field Day t-shirts as well as concessions will be available for purchase at each event.


Our Fall Ball dance for 3rd-5th grade students is tomorrow (Thursday) after school until 4:30. Admission is $3 and students will be able to purchase concessions and raffle tickets during the dance.

3rd graders enjoyed a visit from Clemson University videographer Andy Turner during the National Day of STEM.

Flat Rock Elementary Field Days will be November 19 and 20. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will have field day on November 19, and K4, K5, 1st, and 2nd grades will have field day on November 20. More details will be sent home next week.

Congratulations to Rock Robotics on winning the Anderson 3 robotics competition at Starr-Iva Middle School!

Flat Rock Elementary will host our annual Fall Family Literacy Night on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:00 pm. Our third, fourth, and fifth grade students will perform. All parents/guardians are invited to attend the School Improvement Council and Title I meetings at 5:30 pm before the program begins. We look forward to sharing this evening with our school community.

We are enjoying our Anderson County Library storytellers as we celebrate literacy week!
