Our 3rd–5th grade mathematicians are hard at work! 🧮✨ With a focus on hands-on activities, students are exploring math in meaningful, engaging ways that bring learning to life.

🎲 Games with Grandparents! Join us September 25th in the gym during your grandchild's Related Arts time for board games, pickleball, coloring & more! Free coffee and a water bar will be provided for grandparents, and concessions will be on sale for students! 💛

✨🦔 Meet Quillo, Miss Cobb’s spiky little study buddy! He’s been “hedging” his bets on 3rd grade math and loves watching students solve problems with sharp thinking. Way to quill it, 3rd graders! Your math skills are on point!

📚🐹 Meet Meeko! 🐹📚 Mrs. Vaughn’s 1st grade class has a new furry friend who has quickly become part of the family. Meeko joins them for read-alouds, activities, and all the excitement of first grade life. At this rate, we might need to go ahead and add sweet Meeko to the class roster! 💕✏️📖

What’s in the box?! 👀 Our 4th graders completed Fear Factor themed science experiment last week! Students braved mystery items while practicing how to describe them using qualitative and quantitative characteristics. 🔬 Would you be brave enough to take on this challenge?

🏈 Football Friday is coming to Flat Rock on Friday, August 22nd! Wear your favorite team’s colors, jersey, or T-shirt and enjoy a football-themed lunch! Just remember, no hats or costumes.

Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Mattison's K5 class had a blast reading Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten today! 🐶📚 Each student was assigned an animal from the story and then designed a little schoolhouse just for their new friend! What a fun and creative way to kick off our kindergarten adventure! 🏫✨

Mrs. Williams’ class kicked off the year by building their classroom family with a fun and heartwarming activity all about connection, kindness, and teamwork. They're already growing into a strong and supportive crew! ❤️📚✨

As a reminder, all Anderson 3 students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2025-2026 School Year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, and we are so thankful we are able to offer this for our students! 🎉
