Crescent High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Chasity Dove as the new Head Varsity Spirit Cheer Coach.  A Crescent High graduate, Coach Dove has been an employee in Anderson 3 for the last seven years, working at both Iva Elementary and currently at Crescent as an Online Learning Teacher.  In addition, she has served as an Assistant Cheer Coach at Crescent for the past three years, as a Rec Cheer Coach, and was a member of the Cheer Team as a student at Crescent.

Crescent High Principal Cliff Roberts said, “We are very excited to have Chasity Dove take over the leadership of our cheer program. She is already a valuable member of our team here at Crescent High School, and now she can expand her involvement and influence as our Head Cheerleading Coach.”

“I am incredibly honored to be given this opportunity to coach a sport that I love at my very own alma mater,” Coach Dove stated. “Looking forward to a great season. GO TIGERS!”

“We are very proud to announce that Chasity will be leading our Cheer program,” Athletic Director Jeff Craft said.  “She knows what our expectations are and where we want to go with our program.  I am excited about the approach she will bring to practices and contests, and know that she has high expectations for where we can take our program.  She has a genuine heart for the best interests of kids and holds them accountable to be their best. Our plan for next year is to focus on being the best Spirit Cheer team we can be and to build on that as our student-athletes gain confidence and experience.  We are looking forward to seeing all that this program will accomplish under Coach Dove’s leadership.”

Coach Dove and her family have been a part of the Anderson Three for several years.  They have three children, Kamryn and Ethan (both Crescent graduates), and Charlee - who is currently a sophomore at Crescent.
