Our 1st graders were busy, busy this week! From making “bone soup” to decorating Halloween cookies. They ended the week with a BANG by completing pumpkin science experiments. So fun! 🦴🎃
Thank you, Flat Rock-Bowen Fire Department and Anderson County Fire Dept Smoke House, for the fire safety demonstration for our K4-2nd grade students! We had a blast and learned so much. 🚒🧯
K4 students wrapped up their pumpkin unit by creating their own pumpkin pie cups and visiting the "pumpkin store". 🎃👨🏼🌾
We enjoyed having guest readers this week from around the district read a chapter from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as part of our One School, One Book schoolwide initiative. 🍭🍬 #TigersTogether

Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Mattison's K5 students learned about verbs and then read the book, Big Pumpkin, by Erica Silverman. Afterwards, they came together as a class to PULL and TUG and YANK the big pumpkin from the vine! 🎃
