Due to anticipated winter weather impacts over the weekend, Anderson 3 will observe eLearning Days on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27.

Schools will communicate eLearning information directly with students and families. We understand that winter weather may result in power outages or connectivity issues ⚡📶, and flexibility will be provided as needed. Please be reminded that students have five (5) school days to complete the assigned eLearning work following the date that school operations resume.

🏃‍♀️❄️Reminder: Our Running Club Marathon Challenge is underway! Students are working toward running a full marathon across the school year, one lap at a time. This is a great way for kids to stay active in the afternoons! Bundle up and get moving!

Congratulations to our Robotics Teams! Both teams were awarded 2nd place overall in the Teamwork Championship! Additionally, team 2730A earned 2nd place in the Individual Skills Challenge! 🥈🥈 Team 2730A also won the VEX IQ Design Award. This award recognizes the team with organized and professional engineering processes. The team is assessed via a submitted engineering notebook and judge interview. 🏆📓

Our winter benchmark testing for students in K5-5th grades will begin next week. We will test Monday, January 12th, through Thursday, January 15th. 💻

Be sure to go to bed on time and be prepared to do your very best on each day of testing! We know our students are going to SHINE! ✨

We’re getting ready to celebrate a magical milestone—the 100th Day of School! 📚
On Friday, January 16th, our school will celebrate our fairy-tale school theme, "Once Upon 100 Days," marking the progress our students have made in their learning journey.

👕 Dress-Up Day Ideas:
📖 Fairy-tale character (prince, king, queen, princess)
🦸 Heroes, adventurers, or explorers
🐉 Dragons, knights, wizards, or magical creatures
📚 Favorite book character (fiction or fantasy)
*No masks or toy weapons, please!

Students are encouraged to have fun and get creative as we celebrate being 100 days into our learning adventure. This chapter has truly been one for the books! ✨📖

Mrs. Blanton's first graders were treated to guest readers today as two Emmanuel University athletes read to them. Miles Dodd is a senior education major who plays on the baseball team, and Naomi Roberts is a junior kinesiology major who plays on the women's basketball team.
