8th Grade Science Review! 🚀
Our 8th graders reviewed Newton’s Laws of Motion in fun and engaging ways! They used a triple Venn diagram to compare and contrast the three laws, then put their knowledge to the test with a Newton’s Laws board game they played together. 🧠🎲 What a great way to review and reinforce learning!

We had a ball celebrating our 8th grade volleyball players at 8th Grade Night last week! 🏐💛It’s been such a joy watching our girls grow and improve with every set this season. They wrapped up their year with a strong showing at this past weekend’s tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and teamwork! A huge thank you to Mrs. Russell and Mr. Russell for pouring into these girls and leading them with heart all season long. 💪

🤖🔧 7th Grade Robotics on the Road! 🧠🚀
Our 7th Grade Robotics students had an awesome day at Engineering Day at the University of South Carolina! They explored hands-on STEM activities, met engineering students, and saw how creativity and problem-solving come together in real-world design.

💪🫀 6th Grade Science in Action! 🧠🏃♂️
Our 6th graders are exploring how the body’s systems work together during physical activity! Students are checking their heart rate and respiration rate after resting, walking for one minute, walking for three minutes, and doing wall sits.
Through this hands-on investigation, they’re discovering how the circulatory, respiratory, and muscular systems respond and work together to keep the body balanced and healthy during movement. 🧬💨

Students in Mrs. Grice’s 7th grade math classes took on the challenge of identifying proportional relationships—not just in equations and graphs, but in real-world situations and data tables, too!
